A London Tango for Europe Day

“To celebrate Europe day, we are pleased to invite you to join up with other pro Europeans – bring your flags! EUFM are responsible for handing out tens of thousands of EU hand flags at the Last Night of the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in support of Musicians. And taking a cue from the last year’s LNOP we are giving you a concert with a tango theme!”
We have quite a show for you, courtesy of The Romano Viazzani Ensemble and guest stars:
Joanna Strand – Jazz singer and West End and theatre (Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde and Masterclass) and Garsington Opera, Grange Park Opera, Opera Holland Park.
Jacqui Tate – Jazz, cabaret and West End and theatre (Les Misérables, Avenue Q, Phantom of the opera, My Fair Lady, Evita, the Pirates of Penzance and South Pacific).
Alessandro Fisher – Tenor, Awarded a 2022 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, Winner of First Prize at the 2016 Kathleen Ferrier Awards and an Associate Artist of The Mozartists, Alessandro Fisher is a member of the BBC New Generation Artist Scheme. Garsington Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, The Grange Festival and the Royal Opera, London.
The Romano Viazzani Ensemble brings together seven outstanding musicians from the worlds of classical, jazz and Latin-American music to play and create tango and tango-inspired music.
Come and celebrate Europe day with some outstanding music.
