West End Wander Eurowalk (Glasgow)

Join a West End Wander Glasgow Eurowalk to look at some of Glasgow’s current and historical links with mainland Europe.
Members of the Glasgow Loves EU group of the European Movement in Scotland will be leading the walk and will be pointing out some interesting highlights on a 90 minute walking tour of 3.5 km.
The walk will start at 10 am at Grosvenor Terrace just outside the Grosvenor Hotel. It will finish at the Botanic Gardens.
We will discover a link to a famous Cypriot born hotelier, we will visit a church which is modelled on a famous Parisian landmark and we will walk along the childhood street of a heroic German from World War 2. We hope this walk will be a positive reminder of the positive and important links our city has had with other countries in Europe over the years and we hope that strong links can continue. Countries which feature on this tour include Germany, Switzerland, France, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Austria.
