Scottish Canals Millennium Link: Celebrating European Links: Maryhill Locks (Glasgow)

Celebrate the 21st Anniversary of the Millennium Link, the restoration of the Forth and Clyde Canal, an EU funding partnership triumph.

The Maryhill Lock Gathering is organised by Glasgow Loves EU and is  free. Light refreshments available between 12.30pm and 4pm. It follows a trip on a canal barge between Kirkintilloch and Maryhill Locks; the barge will dock for a few hours at Maryhill Locks and everyone is welcome, whether or not you have been on the preceding boat trip.  The party to raise awareness of the impact of European Union funding on the city of Glasgow.
