Transcending Borders and Democracy under Fire (Brighton Fringe)

A multi-faceted celebration of our connection to Europe; Featuring Live Music, Debate, and Poetry, this is a Mini Arts Festival not to be missed!

Music by Undead Musicians Club celebrating the life of the late singer, songwriter and pianist Rich Beahan, with the musical direction of Chris Hookway.
Debate on the subject of ‘Democracy under Fire’ chaired by Caroline Lucas with writer, journalist and co-founder of Byline Times, Peter Jukes; British Green politician, economist and ex-MEP, Molly Scott-Cato; and writer, artist and activist, Madeleina Kay. Poetry read by students from Poetry by Heart on the theme of ‘Transcending Borders’.

25% of money raised will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee – https://www.dec.org.uk/ – for their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

Part of the Brighton Fringe, England’s largest arts festival (6th May-5th June)
